LIVIN at Griffith University for O-Week

Our LIVIN ambassador Alistair was invited to receive a fundraising donation from the Griffith Honours College, Student Advisory Group at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. Before the presentation of the donation to LIVIN, the honour students and alumni were involved in a discussion about the importance of looking after their mental health throughout their study career. A number of speakers presented their advice and experiences to the several hundred students who were in attendance and it was inspiring to see that such a large educational community and faculty have placed so much emphasis on their students mental well-being. University is both a rewarding and stressful time for many students and it's a positive and pro-active step for them to receive an acknowledgement from the staff that it's okay to feel a bit stressed out and there are ways to overcome those difficult times. We would like to sincerely thank the efforts of the Griffith Honours College Student Advisory Group for choosing LIVIN as their chosen charity and wish all the students and staff at Griffith University a productive and positive year ahead. #ItAintWeaktoSpeak
