‘LIVIN Strong’ program launched in Townsville

It’s the strength of our LIVIN team that keeps us strong and our message going on and this is perfectly demonstrated through the successful launch of our 8-week pilot program “LIVIN Strong.” There has been a massive amount of action behind-the-scenes in planning and compiling this program and we have our amazing team to thank for getting this important program off the ground and up to the next level. After twelve months of blood, sweat and tears we have launched the “LIVIN Strong” program in Townsville through partnerships with Kirwin State High School, North Queensland Toyota Cowboys and Central Queensland University. Dr. Amanda Rebar of Central Queensland University will be leading the research of our program for ethics and providing us with invaluable feedback to ensure we can continue to grow and develop this 8-week program through schools and other organisations. Our message at LIVIN is that It Ain’t Weak to Speak and if we can help younger adults embrace this mindset then we can give them a better chance of successfully combating mental health issues in the future. We thank everyone who has contributed in some way to our organisation achieving such a significant milestone and look forward to sharing the journey with all our incredible supporters.
