Prince Harry speaks up on mental health
On their recent visit to Australia to coincide with the opening of the 2018 Sydney Invictus Games, His Royal Highness Prince Harry and his new bride Meghan Markle spent some time exploring some of the country's most iconic landmarks including the one and only Bondi Beach.  Their time spent on one of our most famous pieces of coastline was shared with our good friends at One Wave is All it Takes who introduced the Royal couple to their Fluro Friday in a bid to raise awareness for mental health, a cause that is very close to Prince Harry's heart and we were stoked to see one of the tribe repping the LIVIN name for the big introduction! The Prince and Duchess of Sussex spoke openly about the importance of discussing mental health to help break the stigma surrounding speaking up.  "It is most crucial to start talking about mental health issues. It is important for all the mental health charities to get together and discuss the issues and how to do something about it.” The Prince also emphasised that we all need to speak about mental health because we all need to look after our mental health. His Royal Highness also spoke about his personal experience how it took him two years to find the right person to speak to and overcome his own personal challenges and how important it is to take the time to find what works for you as we’re all different. The Duchess, Meghan Markle, said that for herself, yoga is a great outlet and she gets on the mat every day to practice this. The Royal couple's visit to Bondi and time spent with the One Wave crew highlights how mental illness does not discriminate and we are all in this together when it comes to smashing the stigma surrounding mental health and we thank Prince Harry for being one of the strongest advocates for this message and keeping the conversation going. It Ain’t Weak to Speak.
