Snap Fitness Australia x LIVIN

At LIVIN, we have long spruiked the benefits that exercise and an active lifestyle can have on your mental health. Research shows that people who exercise regularly have better mental health and lower rates of mental illness. With World Mental Health Day quickly approaching, we are so thrilled to announce that we have partnered with Snap Fitness Australia

As one of Australia’s leading fitness brands backed by a global network of over 2,000 clubs, including 275 across Australia and New Zealand, Snap Fitness provides 24-7 gyms offering cardio, strength equipment, functional training zones, personal training and more.

The partnership will raise vital funds and awareness to support our stigma reduction and mental health education program LIVINWell delivered to high schools across Australia, apparel and community awareness initiatives, promoting the LIVIN mantra It Ain’t Weak to Speak.

Snap Fitness Chief Executive Officer, Chris Caldwell, said he is excited to see what the fitness community can achieve through facilitating positive physical activity and open conversations around mental health.

“At Snap Fitness our goal has always been to have an all-encompassing approach to health and wellness – we know the strong links between physical and mental health,” said Mr Caldwell.

“The existing mental health issues our society is suffering has been heightened this year with the global pandemic, so it’s never been more important for the entire country to get behind this cause and do something to create positive change in their communities.”

Snap Fitness’ fundraising activities begin from 1 September and run through to 31 October 2020, including an in-club mental health challenge, local fundraising initiatives and an online Virtual Mediation Session.
